Our Story

Ranch roots, restaurant discipline

Good food starts with good ingredients — a lesson learned long before culinary school.

Chef & Owner

Morgan Milton

Crossings Kitchen is owned and run by chef Morgan Milton, who grew up on the family’s Milton Ranch in Roundup, Montana. That upbringing — where good food meant good, honest ingredients handled simply and well — still shapes the way the kitchen operates today.

Morgan trained at the Western Culinary Institute before serving as executive chef at Chico Hot Springs and later opening his own restaurant, Pinkie’s, in Livingston. Crossings Kitchen, opened on West Kagy Boulevard right next to the Montana State University campus — about a five-minute drive from downtown Bozeman — is the next chapter: a place built on consistency and hospitality rather than trends, open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and coffee.

The newly renovated space seats around 75–80 guests including the patio, and has quickly become a regular stop for students, MSU faculty, and Bozeman locals alike.
